Hello and welcome to my blog! My name is Gerald Carpenter and I am a professional plumber in the third generation. My father was a plumber, my grandfather was a plumber. I wish I had records on my other ancestors. I believe that being a plumber is my true calling. I’ve been helping my father to fix things from an early age. I would not be surprised if my mother told me that I had learned plumbing business before I could even walk. But, jokes aside! I have a diploma in engineering and over 30 years of experience as a leading plumbing contractor. I don’t like to brag, but my Best County Plumber award tells more about me than I can. I am fully licensed and eager to help people in need.
A few years ago I retired, passing my lifework to my nephew. I have no sons, and my two daughters apparently prefer to go their own ways. But after several months of doing nothing I got really bored, so my wife came up with the idea to turn occasional private consultations into a business. It was not hard to do, because my clients’ list was gigantic and many of them were eager to hear my thoughts on the problem. It took me 5 months to extend the number of my clients across the state, and now I am happier than ever. I consult private clients, companies, theaters, schools, universities, cafes, restaurants, and so on. With any question that appears about sewerage or plumbing, my old and new clients don’t hesitate to contact me. Apparently, good plumbers nowadays are extremely rare, and plumbers who are also good consultants are almost endangered species.
The mission of this blog is not to teach you how to be a plumber, but to help you in your daily life. For example, I can teach you how to pick up the best and the most reliable toilet bowls, pipes, showers or water heaters, how to fix minor breakdowns or clean the drains. I can also suggest you places to buy durable sanitary engineering for a fair price. You don’t have to hire a plumber each time something goes wrong. All you need is to check this blog for a new portion of recommendations from me.
My recommendations will be mainly about domestic plumbing fixes, but you can use them in other areas. My advice is to read carefully if the goods I recommend can be bought for establishments with multitude of users or suitable for family use only.
You may be already aware of how important a good plumbing system is for our life. It may seem small and unnoticed since we usually hide it behind doors and walls, and prefer not to talk about it in public places. But the incompetent approach to plumbing may lead to serious consequences and can cost you a fortune. This is one of the reasons why my services are on demand, and this is why I decided to create this blog.
Consider me a good neighbor who can help you with your problems for free. Except this neighbor has a trustworthy reputation as a professional and knows exactly what he is doing. But no one keeps you silent about my work! Since I am a simple man and cannot get my eyes and ears across the whole state, there is a teeny-tiny chance that I might miss some great offer at the market. In this case, I will be really grateful to hear your proposition. Share your thoughts in the comments, it’s free! 🙂 There is one rule only – be polite. You don’t have to agree with me or other readers in everything, but at least you have to respect another person’s opinion. In turn, I promise you to respect yours. I’m willing to create a friendly atmosphere here.
